About This Spot

Stepping into Little Wing Whiteabbey feels like finding a warm, animated corner of Newtownabbey where good company, the scent of freshly baked dough, and wholehearted hospitality come together. The space hums with a lively yet intimate energy—an inviting neighborhood spot that’s as much about sharing moments as it is about the food. The pace here is unhurried but vibrant, with background jazz setting a comfortable tone that encourages both casual meals and small celebrations.

There’s a sense of effortless camaraderie at the heart of this pizza restaurant, where the staff’s genuine friendliness often shines through in small, memorable gestures. Whether it’s a thoughtful recommendation, promptly fetched ketchup for a little one, or the quick smile exchanged over a freshly tossed salad, these human touches give the place its character. While busy and often welcoming walk-ins, the rhythm feels designed for savoring rather than rushing through a meal.

The menu itself is a laid-back journey through familiar, well-loved flavors, anchored firmly by their 24-inch pepperoni margherita pizzas that invite sharing and conversation. The option to personalize halves or mix and match toppings reveals a subtle celebration of choice and community. Alongside their pizzas, dishes like crisp chicken Caesar salads or comforting pastas quietly complement the scene, each element feeling thoughtfully prepared without fuss. And for a gentle finish, desserts like tiramisu or a Nutella pizza add a touch of playful indulgence to the evening.

Little Wing Whiteabbey sustains its charm through the simple, authentic pleasure of good food enjoyed in good company. It might not fuss with reservations or formalities—preferring instead the hum of genuine human moments and the casual rhythm of a local favorite. It’s a space where the act of coming together over a shared pizza becomes its own kind of joy.

Food and service is always great here, would recommend 24inch sized pizzas, can requedt to do half & half. They don't take reservations here, walk-in only & you can order for takeaway although you should order in advance for collection. Brilliant spot!

I’ve always found the food here to be lovely, and the waiting staff generally very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, our experience tonight was disappointing. The blonde waitress serving us made us feel as though we were on a conveyor belt. I had just ordered a cocktail before finishing my meal, yet we were given repeated looks, and the bill was printed and placed down on our table abruptly without us asking. There wasn’t even anyone waiting for a table. The couple beside us experienced the same treatment and commented on it as well. I stayed to enjoy my drink but continued to receive frustrated looks throughout. It really let the other colleagues down who work so hard and clearly build a great rapport with their customers. I hope this will be a one off.

Lovely night celebrating our daughter’s birthday. The gentleman who served us tonight (Tall with long hair) was absolutely lovely. He went above and beyond and even went out of his way to get ketchup for our daughter from the shop across the road which he didn’t have to do but it was such a lovely thought.

Little Wing Whiteabbey is the best branch by far! All staff can't do enough & the food is amazing! I got a skinny Piccante with a drizzle of basil pesto on 10/10

Pizzas were outstanding. Staff are friendly and service was quick. Background music is a little loud and not ro my taste. It was very jazzy.

My partner is a vegetarian and the guys here really put out some show-stopping vegetarian pizza's. They don't have a lot of different toppings, but the menu makes sure that strict veggies don't accidentally mix non-animal friendly toppings with vegetarian options, and the cook is always perfect! Love their lunch deals especially, but this is a great place, with great value and great taste every single time we've either dined in or ordered a pizza for collection. Highly Recommended!

My wallet is happy, and I didn't age waiting for the food. Seriously, the speed here is commendable—the kitchen operates with a sense of urgency that suggests they might have a flight to catch. The food is always served within a timeframe I consider "reasonable," and definitely not "geological." The service staff are basically dining ninjas. They repeat your order back to you with the focus of a prosecuting attorney confirming evidence, ensuring they get it absolutely right. Then, they appear multiple times like very helpful, food-bearing ghosts, just to make sure you aren't stuck craving a napkin or an extra soda. They have a solid menu and deals that won't require you to take out a second mortgage. Word of caution: it's an open kitchen, which is great for watching the action, but if you're looking for a quiet, library-like dining experience, you might want to bring noise-canceling headphones (or just shout your compliments over the din). 10/10, definitely worth the hard-earned cash I still have thanks to their good deals!

The pizza was absolutely brilliant — perfectly balanced, not greasy, not too dry, and packed with flavour. 10/10 However, a couple of things were a bit disappointing. The dessert, though tasty, was very small for the price — we ordered a cake with ice cream, and it was gone in just two bites. The milkshake, while it looked great visually, didn’t live up to expectations in taste. It was watery and bland, maybe a 3/10. Overall score 4/5 sausages
